What is Homeschooling:
Homeschooling is the education of children at home or at a variety of different places. Usually conducted by a parent, or a tutor instead of sending them to a traditional public or private school.
What is Needed:
Parents or Guardians who wish to Homeschool their children will need to register at the Ministère de L’Éducation du Québec (MEQ) and to the school board.
Once done, you would have to send a copy of the Notice to Homeschool to the SWLSB Homeschooling office at: homeschooling@swlauriersb.qc.ca
Textbooks:
Textbook loans can be made when the Homeschooling department has received the following:
- All registration documentation
- The Learning Project and/or Projet d’apprentissage
Once this is complete please send the required textbook loan form to: homeschooling@swlauriersb.qc.ca
